Our studio camera system is controlled through the computer. The image from the camera is transferred via firewire to the workstation where it is viewed and assessed for all technical criteria. When fully satisfied with the captured image, the original is given its correct file name if present on the painting, or a number within a client named folder if not. These of course can be renamed at a later stage by the client if necessary.
Our computer screens are colour corrected and balanced using industry standard techniques. Although every consideration is taken with regards to colour, it is however impossible to predict how individual pigments will record on digital or conventional media. If you would like to view your digital images prior to burning to disc, we are happy for you to visit the studio to oversee adjustments if necessary.
